Dr Phil's Real Ale House was opened on Roman Road, Middlesbrough in August 2013 in order to fill the void the existed in Middlesbrough for a good quality, well kept real ale, perry and ciders. At only 5 meters square, Dr Phils is one of the smallest micro pubs in Teesside, but is probably one of the best! With over 500 beers served since opening, and an ever changing line up of ales and ciders (updated daily on Facebook), real ale lovers always have a new beer to try! Dr Phil's was the 2015 Yorkshire CAMBRA branch pub of the year.

The Infant Hercules is located on Grange Road, Middlesbrough just a short walk from the town centre. Opened in early 2015, the Infant Hercules has grown to become one of Middlesbrough's top Micro pubs. Offering 4 cask ales, from local and national breweries, the Infant Hercules caters for everyone's tastes, with the typical offering including a pale, a golden, a bitter, and a stout.
The Devil's Advocate Cafe Bar

The Devils Advocate opened November 2014 in a former estate agents located on Borough Road, Middlesbrough. Two real ales are typically served, including a golden bitter, brewed especially for the Devils Advocate by Middlesbrough's own Truefitt Brewery, Devils Brew. Kozel lager and Fruli strawberry beer also feature on the Devils bar.

Sherlocks, aptly located on Middlesbrough's trendy Baker Street opened in June 2014 with the aim of becoming a cosy watering hole for refined lager and ale drinkers. Complete with log burner and wood panels, Sherlocks is the perfect place to spend an afternoon or the full night, complete with a great selection of real ales, Belgium beers, and real ciders.
The Twisted Lip

The Twisted Lip, another Sherlock Holmes reference on Baker Street, opened in 2014 as one of the first micro pubs in Middlesbrough. With its reclaimed furniture and cosy fireplaces, the Twisted Lip is one of the most popular venues on a Friday and Saturday with a great variety of entertainment on offer. With a regularly changing selection of guest real ales, and a great selection of bottled beers from around the world, the Twisted Lip is an excellent example of a great micro pub.
